Served on the committee which functions as a liason between Smith college students and faculty members. Prepared and presented weekly minutes. Worked to inform student body about anticipated changes in curriculum administration. Functioned as the Student Academic Advisor Representative on the committee. (April 1997-April 1998)

Co-Chair, 5-Con Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention
Served as co-chair and programming coordinator for a convention of about 150 people. Communicated with guests and acted as liason between the college and the convention staff prior to and during the convention itself. Established a viable prgramming schedule and trained next year's convention chairs. (April 1997-May 1998)

Head of Student Academic Advisors, Northampton, MA.
Aided entering students in registration, honor code, and other academic matters during orientation. Organized periodic meetings throughout the school year in order to clarify academic policy and procedure to students. Arranged training meetings for new SAAs prior to new student orientation. (April 1995-April 1998)

Computer and Administrative Assistant, Language World, San Diego, CA.
Worked daily on computers, retyping learning materials. Assisted in flyer distribution, taught a small portion of beginning Spanish. Answered phones, coordinated dispensing of new materials. (Summer 1996)

Worked in conjunction with a secretary at a doctor's office specializing in children with Attention Deficit Disorder. Summarized patient reports, answered phones, helped distribute mailings and prescriptions. Also worked on secretarial matters and trained my replacement to use our computer.(1995)
